As the president of Northern Adjusters and the newest president of the NAIIA, Susan Daniels has been a guiding light in the world of insurance. Not only is she the trailblazer of Northern Adjusters, but her vast experience and involvement with other industry organizations has made her one of the most experienced and respected insurance professionals today.
We are extremely honored to have such an inspiring woman at the helm of our business. And we aren’t the only ones who feel that way. Susan was recently featured in the June 2017 edition of Claims Magazine where her accomplishments, experiences and journey in the insurance industry are highlighted.
Susan’s leadership has continued beyond Northern Adjusters. She has been active in industry organizations such as the Alaska Adjusters Association, the Workers’ Compensation Committee of Alaska and the Affiliated Adjusters. And just this past week she became the first woman to lead the NAIIA as president.
Susan believes that each of these organizations are designed to function together in the community to contribute something bigger and better than one individual can do on their own. She knows first-hand the challenges adjusters can face while operating in a territory such as Alaska, and feels that each and every person in the industry has something unique and important to contribute.
With her new position as the president of NAIIA, Susan has her finger on the pulse of the industry by monitoring the latest trends and changes that affect those who work for and support insurers. This includes adapting to the changing landscape of the digital age and the shift in demographics to find the newest solutions to recruit, train and retain qualified professionals.
Northern Adjusters is the company it is today because of Susan’s leadership, knowledge, and her ability to inspire those around her. Her compassion, empathy and direction has positioned Northern Adjusters as a respected, thorough and trustworthy company that serves as an example by leading the way for other independent adjustment firms.
